PSYCHOANALYTIC PRACTICE

Every symptom has a history

Listening

is not simply hearing.

People come to therapy carrying emotional pain.

Sometimes they know exactly why.

Sometimes they do not.

Psychoanalytic listening creates the conditions in which thoughts, feelings, and experiences can gradually begin to make sense.

Understanding does not always remove suffering.

But it can profoundly change our relationship to it.

The analyst behind the listening

Gloria Blanco

For more than twenty years, I have accompanied people through emotional pain, life transitions, and the search for deeper understanding. As a Psychoanalyst, I offer a space where symptoms are not simply treated, but explored as expressions of a person's unique history. Every therapeutic journey begins with careful listening.

What You Can Expect

Therapy is not about finding quick answers.

It is a space to think, to speak freely, and to discover meanings that may not yet have been available.

Sessions last 50 minutes and provide a consistent, confidential setting where understanding can develop over time.

What brings people here

Sometimes people come with a clear reason.

Sometimes they only know that something no longer feels the same

Emotional Sufering

What I feel.

Emotional suffering can take many forms. It may be experienced as anxiety, depression, trauma, or a persistent sense that something is no longer the same. Sometimes the source is clear; sometimes it is not

Relationships

How I relate to others.

Some relationship patterns keep repeating.

Some feel difficult to understand.

Others leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or alone.

Life experiences

What has shaped my life.

Some experiences stay with us long after they happen.

Loss. Migration. Life transitions
