READING GROUPS
Who can Join?
These reading groups are open to mental health professionals, healthcare practitioners, educators, and anyone with a genuine interest in psychoanalysis.
The groups are designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding of psychoanalytic theory and explore its relationship to contemporary clinical practice. Alongside the foundational works of Freud and other classical authors, we also read and discuss contemporary psychoanalytic literature.
Inside Freud’s Mind
At Dthinker, we offer a psychoanalytic study group that meets every Wednesday from 12:00-1:30 pm. In this group, we explore Freud’s cases, including Dora, The Rat Man, The Wolf Man, Little Hans, and Schrebe’s Case.
Together, we delve into the unconscious structures and contemporary perspectives surrounding these clinical cases. Our study group provides a space for mental health professionals and students to deepen their understanding of psychoanalytic theory and practice, and engage in meaningful discussions with peers.
The reading group offers a space for the close study and discussion of psychoanalytic texts in a thoughtful and collaborative setting
